Video: MY FIRST DYNO!It was a V2 at Seattle Bouldering Project. I hadn't attempted a dyno before this problem and figured I'd give it a shot. After a few failed attempts I nailed it. And technically this is my second dyno as after I landed it I asked my GF to record a video but whatever... it's MY FIRST DYNO! Photo: Bug HuntWhile bouldering we tied Rita to a tree. We didn't want her running around trying to knock us off a climb. Much to our suprise she kept herself busy the entire time hunting/catching bugs. There would be silence and then this popping sound which was Rita biting at the bugs. She did this all day. Photo: Goldbar Lighting
I'm working on my ability to capture the light of Goldbar. Goldbar is probably like every other mountainside with sunlight splitting the trees... amazing. Hopefully the photo gets close. This is a combination of 3 exposure bracketted photos to create a HDR result. It came out pretty well and to me looks natural. HDR can go really bad but I'm happy with the result. Video: So it Seams (V2) @ Goldbar: Sanctuary"So it Seams" is a V2. It wasn't that graceful of an ascent but it took some work to figure this one out. I'd prefer to be a little more solid especially with the footholds that appears to slip out from under me a few times. I struggled a bit with the top out as well. In my defense it was covered in moss. But it's progress as I wasn't able to top out on the trip we made to Goldbar a week before.Oh, and not just 1 but 2 heel hooks. I rock. Hell, I don't even know if they're too small. I grew tomatoes. |
